Today September 1st and tomorrow September 2nd the women in Green Forum will take place at the Convention Center here in Pasadena. Women in Green will focus on women’s impact on our world and families. The forum will highlight sustainable companies and products, as well career opportunities for women in green industry. On Day 1 you’ll here from leaders in the environmental sector: fortune 500 companies to small independent businesses. Dr. Chris Vargas & Dr. Adana Moses from Innate Family Chiropractic in Pasadena will teach us what the body goes through during pregnancy, including how weight gain puts a different stress on the body. Correct posture and an aligned structure gives the baby optimum space, decreasing the chances of a C-section or breech presentation. It will also reduce the typical aches and pains associated with pregnancy.

Did you know that until August 29th the Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena puts on 5 FREE concerts a week? Well now you do! Finally, a farmers market on Lake! The South Lake Avenue Summer Farmers’ Market will be open every Wednesday until September 29th, from 3:30-7:30pm. It is located on Del Mar Blvd. at Shoppers Lane (Walgreens back parking lot). Come buy fresh, local and California grown products directly from the source. It is a great way to support the local community and you can feel good about feeding your family fresh locally grown products.

This Saturday, June 19th is Make Music Pasadena! It’s a free, all ages music festival. There are stages throughout Pasadena, including one here on South Lake, right down the street from giggle. What a great way to spend a nice summer day with the family: listening to some local artists and then coming to visit us at giggle! Make Music Pasadena begins at 11am and goes until 11pm, with the South Lake stage rockin’ from 12pm to 5pm. So gather up the kiddos and come enjoy this celebration of music in all its forms.
